1. How do I book you as my florist?
Fill out the Wedding Inquiry Form and I will be in touch shortly to get a few more details from you! We will schedule an in person consultation to discuss the role flowers will play in your day. After our meeting, I will put together a fully customized proposal and send it your way, along with my contract. I request you return the contract and non-refundable down payment within 10 days. Once I’ve received those, you’re booked!
2. How far in advance should I book?
Wedding season (May through October) fills up quickly, so the sooner the better! That being said, I like to accommodate short engagements whenever I can, as my husband and I planned our own wedding in less than 5 months.
3. What happens after I book with you?
Once you’re booked, we stay in contact as needed as your wedding approaches. I will touch base 6 weeks before your wedding to review the order, and again 4 weeks before to plan a timeline for the day. I make myself available to my brides by email and phone to ensure everything will be just right on their day!
4. How much will it cost?
Since my floral packages are customized for each couple, the pricing varies greatly from wedding to wedding. Cost is dependent on the flower selection as well as the size, style, and quantity of pieces needed. I do not have a minimum spending amount, but work to provide beautiful flowers that maximize your budget. Fill out my inquiry form to get the process started for creating a custom proposal.
5. Can you help with other details of my day?
Florals are my first priority, but I am happy to offer guidance in overall event styling as desired. Everything from stationary and photography to wedding attire and color schemes, I have plenty of ideas and referrals to share!
With enough advance notice, you can also add Day of Coordination Services to ensure smooth execution of all the details on your wedding day. If this interests you, let me know in the inquiry form or in your consultation.
6. Do you travel?
I am based in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and am able to travel within a 100 mile radius of my home studio. Most couples I work with are located in Western Wisconsin or the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. I charge a standard per-mile rate for all deliveries outside of Eau Claire. Not sure if you’re in range? Send me a message and I’ll see if we can make it happen!
7. Do you take on events other than weddings?
Weddings are the main focus of Fersk, but I am happy to create arrangements for any event! Corporate gatherings, family parties, showers, grand openings, and even funerals are in my scope. Fill out my inquiry form or send me an email to start the conversation.
8. Can I order a single arrangement from Fersk?
At this time, I only accommodate event orders including several arrangements. While I would love to create arrangements for birthdays, anniversaries, or those “just because” days, I do not have a steady supply flowers on hand to do so.
I do offer pop up sales during major floral holidays - Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Christmas - where you can pick up single arrangements and gifts for the ones you love. Sign up for my email list to receive updates on the dates and locations of those events.
9. Do you have a retail space?
Fersk currently operates out of the home I share with my husband and our two cats. The hope is to someday have a public studio and retail space, but I’ve chosen to grow my business slowly and sustainably. Stay tuned!
